Students in our undergraduate program gain an excellent foundation in all fields of biology while learning the practical skills of a working biologist. Learning takes place in the laboratory and in the field. Students can choose to specialize in a number of subject areas, including ecology, cell and developmental biology, and physiology.As a biology student in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, you will spend your first year exploring the fascinating and complex world of biology before deciding to major in molecular and cellular biology or integrative biology.
